Cal. 44 WCF (44-40). S# 383547B. Bbl. 24" rnd. Sporting bbl. sights, with Model 1873 Winchester 62B tang sight. Full length mag. Blue finish, with case colored hammer and lever. Walnut forearm and nicely grained straight grip stock, with crescent steel trapdoor buttplate. Mfg. in 1891. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: 4-piece cleaning rod held in stock compartment. CONDITION: 40% original blue, showing edge and carry wear with scattered scratches and marks. Hammer and lever retain faint traces of case colors. Stocks have worn original finish, showing scattered scratches and handling marks. Mechanically fine. Bore is generally bright with sound rifling, showing some very light pitting. (01-27039/DS).
